Local rules

OUT OF BOUNDS – R 18
Marked with white stakes and/or white lines.
On holes n°6 and 10, out of bounds are defined by fences on the right side of the fairway.

ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITIONS – R 16 
Ground under repair - R 16.1 : Marked with blue stakes and/or blue or white lines.
Immovable obstructions - R 16.1 : On hole n°7, the farm house, his court yard and access road is one single immovable obstruction.

ALTERNATIVE TO STROKE AND DISTANCE FOR LOST BALL OR BALL OUT OF BOUNDS
When a player’s ball has not been found or it is known or virtually certain to be out of bounds, the player may proceed under the alternative to stroke and distance with 2 strokes penalty. 

NO PLAY ZONE
All flowerbeds marked with blue stakes are defined as ground under repair where play is not allowed.

All areas marked with green caps over blue or red stakes are ecological zones where play and entrance are not allowed.
These areas are delimited by the edge of the grass cut to short rough length and the uncut rough with the uncut rough being part of the no play zone.

If the payer’s ball lies in a no play zone or if a no play zone interferes with the player’s area of intended stance or area of intended swing, the player must take a relief under rule 16.1f, or if the ball lies in a no play zone inside a penalty zone, the player must take a relief under rule 17.1e.

PROTECTION OF YOUNG TREES
Young trees identified with tutors (stakes, wires, fences) are no play zones (abnormal course conditions).

If the player’s ball lies anywhere on the course other than in a penalty area and it lies on or touches such a tree or such a tree interferes with the player’s stance or area of intended swing, the player must take a relief under rule 16.1.f.

DROPPING ZONE
On hole n°3, if a ball lies or is lost in the red penalty zone the player may drop a ball with one stroke penalty in the dropping zone on the left side of the path as an additional option to the rule 17.1.
On holes n°2 and 16, if a ball lies in a flowerbed behind the green the player may drop a ball in the nearest dropping zone as an additional option to the rule 16.1.
On holes 2 and 18, if a ball lies or is lost in the red penalty area, the player may, as an additional option to Rule 17.1, drop a ball with a penalty stroke in the dropping zone near the penalty area.
On hole n°9, if a ball lies or is lost in the red penalty zone with green caps where play is not allowed, the player may drop a ball with one stroke penalty in the dropping zone near the penalty area as an additional option to the rule 17.1.
On holes 12, if a ball lies on the path on the left side of the green, or it interferes with the player’s area of intended stance or area of intended swing the player may, as an additional option to Rule 16.1, drop a ball without penalty stroke in the dropping zone near the path.
The dropping zone is a relief area under the rule 14.3.

Penalty for breach of Local Rules : General penalty
(Match Play : loss of hole – Stroke Play : 2 strokes)
Green stakes on the side of the fairway indicates 135 meters to the front of the green
They are considered as movable obstructions.
Distances written on sprinklers are measured from the front of the green.

ATTENTION

Entering in an area defined with blue or red stakes and green caps or entering in the area out of bounds on the right side of hole n°14 to search or to pick up a ball is a serious breach of the player’s code of conduct. First breach : general penalty. Second breach : disqualification. In case of recidivism the committee can decide additional penalty.
